How Commissions Work:

Go to the “Get in Touch” page and fill out the info.

  • We’ll iron out the details (style, size, price, etc...).

  • You send me photos to work from.

  • You pay the 50% deposit and sign the Artist Contract.

  • I get to work on your painting!

  • I’ll get in touch with you when your painting is ready.

  • You pay the balance.

  • I’ll ship your painting.

What do They Usually Cost?

The best way to do this, is figure out where you might want to hang or place your painting in your house. This will give you an idea of approximate size. A rough estimate of cost will be the square area of the painting times $5.50.

So, an 8x10 painting is 80sq inches x $5.50 which equals $440. If you want a larger painting, say 16x20, that is 320sq inches x $5.50 which equals $1760. It doesn’t matter if you want a rectangular or square format painting. The formula of square area, times $5.50 is the same.

Keep in mind that I may charge more for complexity. We’ll figure that out when we “iron out the details”.
